Not sure what you mean?

Is your reservoir remote from the master cylinder?- If you need hose to connect a remote resovoir to the cyliner you can get it from thinkauto.com

If you mean the hose between the clutch master cylinder and the reservoir the above should do too.

If it's a metal brake pipe, take the old one to a decent 'old- school' garage who have bending and flaring tools and they can make you one from bundy tube.

Hope that helps,

John

Sorry John i was being a bit stupid, i lost almost all my brakes and the clutch went light last night on the way home so tried to have a look at the road side but it was pitch black and it looked like a return hose, but it would make sense that its the pipe for the clutch.

Cheers for the website John.

Charlie.

Charlie,

Is the hose definitely leaking?- i guess they'll be fluid under it if it is.

Most common fluid loss is probably clutch slave cylinder- this can leak quite badly with the clutch still working ok (to start with!)

The pipe that would go into the clutch master cylinder has broken clean off leaving the end still in the master cylinder and the pipe leaking fluid, well not anymore as there's sod all fluid left Shocked good times.

i'm a little confused as to how this happend as i haven't been fiddling in that part of the engine bay? i'm blaming fowl play by my BMW owning friend he's just upset that he has two more cylinders and 300cc more and yet still can't beat me, even with his fancy new race manifold and stainless system.

Check all your engine mounts, if there is excessive play then maybe the reason for the pipe snapping, if foul play "by a bmw owning friend" was to blame then firstly I would not be friends with him and a fing good kicking would be in order, or contact the police!!.

New part turned up today is now fitted and working well! Very Happy

As for the failed old part once i removed the snapped part form the clutch master cylinder it became very clear as to why it failed, at some point in the cars past some one had glued the two bits back together!! guess i was lucky it didn't fail when i was driving fast! Shocked

Ah well, alls well that ends well!
