Out of interest, how power would you say this engine produced? I know you've sold it now. |

Over the past couple of years, I have had three 16v engines in various specs fitted at various times to the two cars and to be honest I cannot accurately recall which engine finished up with what power output. Clearly, I should keep better records!
The only other comment I would make is that I came to the conclusion that a stated max power was more dependent upon whose rollers the car was on, rather than the spec of the engine! The only real indicator is lap time! |

I suppose you're right - lap time is the best indicator especially if times matched to engines, car setup and track are consistent. I was a passenger in Al's car recently and the engine really felt strong. Good development. |
