I believe its Ok.
Someone with a series 1 QV would certainly help now!
The pressure seems ok, even when you reved the engine. Don`t look at it when the oil is hot though, to avoid you a heart attack.
I have seen low pressures such as 1 bar, which is really low

Would there be any difference in an 8v compared to my 16v, as in more oil, different galleries ect ect?
Cheers, think its from a ser 1 33 or from a sud _________________ x2 33 16v

Looks ok to me Al.
I'm no expert but I would assume the time for the pressure to rise would be normal for our mechanical pumps. |

Ok, thanks guys, I am going to do another recording after trickle charging my battery and getting the alternator checked, to eliminate charging/battery issues.
Then I will have some more questions, I will start another thread for that _________________ x2 33 16v

Looks like it did when I used them mate, the only way to get a true idea of what the oil is doing is to go down the capillary route. _________________ PHAT 33 |

Mine is faster than that but I have an aftermarket mechanical gauge.
Where is your capillary tube taking it's output from on the engine?
Maybe worth changing the tube? When did you last change it? I guess these can get gunged up especially at the end joining pieces as the holes are pretty fine. _________________ S2 33 1988 1.7 QV
