Hi Mark, looks seriously good - check the viscous coupling mounts.
Used to love my P4. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Looks like a great car. I did watch the end of the auction out of interest (and possibly as I'm sad and have no life! ) |

Looks great!
The spare rear reflector alone is worth £1600 - almost
Just needs original rear badges back on- Alex probably has an unbroken '33' and the 'permanent4' etc
Bringing it to SAD?
Good luck

The permanent 4 means that the 4WD isn't permanently in operation unlike the earlier more agricultural 4x4s, but is protected in certain conditions so that it can be left on all the time (so hence the permanent) _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

The non permanent version had no viscous coupling, which could make the handling interesting if you left it in 4wd mode.
For 4wd versions the UK only got the early series 1 non permanent 4wd version and the early (ie, non cat) series 3 permanent 4wd models
All the best
