2013 is upon us and got a list of pending work to do.

1) once dizzy springs arrive have it re-calibrated to prevent the mid-rev pinging
2) brake fluid needs changing
3) think strut pan bearings are on their way out!!!
4) re-position electric fuel pump to a cleaner/cooler area - possibly next to fuse boxes

5) POSSIBLY BUY A NEW 33 1.7 ie. 1994 with just 60,000 kms on it. Been stored for some time previously so got to check out things like A/C, gaskets, fuel pumps/lines.
Very Happy

I'd at least like to get the dizzy timing sorted if I'm going to sell it at a good price, plus strut pan bearings.

I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to sell it with these issues and they'd see the issues while testing it. Confused

I agree - I couldn't sell a Permanent 4 I had till it was in good condition. However, once it was in good working order I didn't want to sell it as I really enjoyed driving it.

I worked a lot in 2012 on my 33 so there aren't many things left to do. Anyway here are my new year resolutions...

1) Change the oil (although the LPG cause the oil to look like just filled from the can)

2) Try to fit a Marelli ignition system (dizzy + coil) taken from a Sud, just to check if the car behaves differently respect to the Bosch one.

3) Repair the lower side of the left rear door (or trying to get an used door of the same color as mine)

4) Cleaning the seats with plenty of water and soap, in July or August when the sun is enough warm to dry them.

Here is the picture I took when testing the Marelli dizzy and coin

I heard positive comments about the Marelli.
An instant improvement in the power curve for some.
