|
|
It is with a bit of sadness that I am going to break an excellent 33.
The reasons are as follows, I want some bits for the track car, the car to break is a Series 3 1.5 i.e. with a couple of problems. It seems the gear selector has come off, it cranks really well but will not fire, it is possible to fix, MOT, tax, put back on the road - and I am told by Alex - that it will then be worth about £400.00! It has already cost me half of that to get it so unfortunately not worth the risk with all of the other costs .
So, sadly, it is going to end up as a pile of bits. I have said to the wife it will only be here for 2 weeks, so after that it will have gone. I have 'bagsed' some bits for me and Alexl, but otherwise if you need something lets discuss. Happy to put stuff by in my shed as required, but a small deposit would help.
I will try and post some photos in a while. _________________ The faster the better. |

Looks really tidy.
The gear lever problem may be easy to fix. If the compression is good the starting problem may not be too serious either.
Anyway I've been looking for a set of those plastic wheel trims for a while. Are 13" or 14"? I want some 13".
I'm in France but they could be sent to an English address(Dorset). _________________ Alfa33 QO 1984

Hi Edward. Are the body panels going? Might be interested in the front wings if so.
Cheers, Lee. |

I will check on those wheel rim trims tomorrow.
I think they are 14" but will let you know.
Lee, I have promised the wings to someone - but he said he would collect them by Tuesday. If he does not take them by then, then we should talk.
They are in excellent condition - but let's see what happens.

Eagle,
the wheel trims are 13" - but there are only 3 of them, let me know if that is any good?
