Sorry folks, no time to do a proper add at the mo. but the car has got to go.
Briefly:
Two owner, 66k miles, garage for all but the last three years.
Black, Recaro interior.
Stainless Exhaust
Recent cambelt and tensioners.
Looking for top dollar, somewhere near £1750 but this has to be one of the best (not perfect but very good) and the money has already been spent.
If you are interested send me a message.

Bottom shot (distortion on the tailgate is a reflection of the garage doors):

At the request of a potential purchaser I've removed the sill trims and peeled back the carpet to examine the inner sills. Not easy to photo or to see what you are seeing in the resultant pictures but I can tell you there is no rust bar a tiny 1-2mm or so diameter round some of the trim screw holes.
Just some a few of the better shots:

And one (taken in the dark with flash, sorry) of the spare wheel.
No rust apart from some that has transferred from the jack to the bit of foam that supports it. The areas of discolouration are where the tyre has rubbed paint away revealing the sound deadening material beneath.

Now with two new tailgate struts so the car no longer tries to kill you when you retrieve something from the boot. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Now with 13 months MoT, expires 22nd March 2014.
Emissions figures are excellent:
Fast Idle
CO 0.038% (has to be less than 0.2%) i.e. 20% of the allowable figure.
HC 16ppm (has to be less than 200ppm) i.e. 8% of the allowable figure.
Idle
CO 0.009% @(has to be less than 0.3%) i.e. 3% of the allowable figure.
Advisories:
Moisture in o/s headlamp (has been since I bought the car) but light output not affected. I have a spare that will come with the car.
Rear axle tie rod bushes worn
Oil leak from engine (This isn't major, the car does not 'mark it's territory' but there is a bit of oil on the heads both sides.)
The tester commented on what excellent condition the underside was in. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

The car just completed 700 miles in five days faultlessly.
700 miles on 19 gallons, nearly 37mpg! _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Still available folks. Surely one of the most structurally sound 33s in the country and with the peace of mind of being in use most days. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

We now have a replacement car so I may be up for a haggle on this.
Come and see the car and then we can talk turkey.

Started first time this morning after a very wet night and 10+ days idle on the drive.
Might take it for a drive at lunchtime. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

No I edited the original post as well so someone looking at the thread from the top would see the current price. Was originally 2k.
Still on the high side but it's a good solid reliable car.
I'm always open to a haggle though. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

That's the most sensible thing you've said for a long time Lee.
Actually bob and I were talking about getting together for another walking expedition in the near future.
Perhaps we could head southwest for a stroll if you're up for it.
