Hi guys, with regret we are putting Lorraines red 33 16v up for sale, it's only available because we really need a bigger car so looking for a 7 seater to replace it. It's one of the last 33's being an M reg, i'll put some pictures on here of it tomorrow evening. In the last 4 months it has had....
New MOT, full respary, new radiator, new cam belts & head gaskets, new center & rear exhaust sections inc a new cat, new windscreen, rear screen removed & all new rubbers fitted, new rear brakes, new front ball joints, new tyres, new battery, new coil & spark plugs. It has 15" wheels, harvey bailey front anti-roll bar, oil pressure & temp gauges, recaro interior, Nardi steering wheel & gear knob and an immobiliser.
This is a very reluctant sale so i am keen to make sure the right person takes it on, (boy racers need not apply), i've done a huge amount of work to this 33 so would like to see it in good hands. i'm more than happy to keep it if there are no takers.
I'm asking £1600, pics to follow.

Well.... what can i say, i thought it may take a while to secure the sale of this 33, but how wrong was i??? i'm convinced the new owner will have it by this coming weekend and i've had 4 of you guys saying you all want it, sorry to let 3 of you down. I've been offered more than the asking price which is amazing! but i'm keeping to my word and the first person who has said he wants it has first refusal on it, it's good to know that our 33's are at last changing hands for more than just a few hundred quid...at last. Many thanks to you guys who offered more £s, i'm flattered. I can strongly recommend Jeremy's black 16v, as far as i know it's still for sale and is a lovely example.

and many thanks to Alex for his kind words.
Last weekend i attended to a couple of small areas of surface rust that appeared near the number plate lights and on the top of the nsr door. All rust was removed and chemically treated and the affected areas primed and painted. I'll be cutting back the paint this weekend (although the tailgate light areas don't really show).
This leaves one small area of surface rust below the ns door mirror which I hope to get done this weekend.
Other than that the bodywork is rust free as far as I'm aware.

Absolutely love this car. Alex has done it proud and I am benefiting 
Been driving it to school and back this week and enjoying it immensely.
It will give me the flat 4 buzz through the summer while I get working on my S2 SW QV.
