My ’88 Alfa 33 failed its WOF the other day on worn rear trailing arm bushes. I’ve ordered a set of Powerflex bushes suited to the rear of my 33. Is there a guide anywhere on changing the trailing arm bushes? Anything I need to know in advance? |

There are 10 bushes in total on the rear axle. Eight for the 4 trailing arms and 2 on the panhard rod.
Its just a case of taking each arm off in turn and pressing the old bushes out and the new poly bushes go in very easily.
When I done mine I pressed the old ones out using a vice and a large socket on one side and an old jubilee clip as a spacer to press the bush into, once you've moved it a little bit with the vice it will then tap out quite easily. _________________ Presntly own
