Trying to get my fast road engine to progress somewhat over the winter.
Desperately looking for parts such and cams and vernier wheels.
Anyone know of anything.
Thanks,
Edward. _________________ The faster the better. |

Hi Edward
Put Catcams in the rally car. seem to be going alright.
I made some vernier cam pulleys but had one shatter and found cracks so went back to std ones. I think there was a group buy on AO for vernier pulleys from Gozzolli? Chris from Cyprus bought some I think. They were about £350 a set from memory.

Im pretty sure that Kent cams were doing pulleys for the 33, I certainly know Adie at AHM used them on his racer car. _________________ PHAT 33 |

Hi local chappy. I'll find out where Luke got his cat cams & pulleys from, the ones he got where faultless & never gave him any issues. I think you may have driven his 33 that had them fitted (red 16v with side exit exhausts). Be in touch soon, (pop in for a drink). _________________ 155 sportpack

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Am, or will be, following them all up.
Did have Catcams in mind and they have given me a price now for cams, but need some other parts before I can get that far.
Alex, yep, will pop round before long for that much needed drink….. _________________ The faster the better. |

Adam,
that little lot is really helpful, I think I am aware of most of those…
Been having a bit of a rethink recently. May well go for standard cams for the build. Can't make my mind up at the moment on verniers, but can sort that out later on.
Does anyone out there have a decent set of standard 16v cams?
Can you let me know….
