Actually the one I have could be series 3, need to look at a photo of one to see the difference. Do you have a photo you could let me have a look at.

Yep, that is the one I have.
The one here has had it's key hole filled (quite neatly) with black silicone. I am sure you could dig it out. It also has a bolt on the inside which I have not seen before.

You may want some photos of it first….

Got a P4 fuel cap from Alex earlier this week, its a perfect fit for the earlier 33's in case anyone was wondering, I took apart the newish fuel cap and cleaned the mechanism and soaked the lock barrel in some WD40 as it was seized and low and behold it is now fully functioning and to top it off my ignition key fits it.....................now what are the chances of that!.
