Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, having tracked down that many Sud fans have come this way from another place, I was keen to keep up with the fascinating restoration threads that seem to have died elsewhere.
Current Alfas are a GT and recently a bargain project 916GTV. However, in my past I have owned 12 Alfas in total and these included many years of boxer ownership: 3 Suds (S1 5M, S2 Ti, S3 TiQV), 2 Sprint Veloce's, and a 33 Sportwagon Cloverleaf (rare as hens teeth I gather these days), before I moved up to a 164 3.0V6. After an 8 year sabbatical on Land Rovers, I had enough cash to get back into Alfas again with 916GTV, which I later swapped for the current GT.
looking forward to catching up with the restoration adventures again _________________ GT 1.9JTDm and GTV 2.0TS |

Thread title made me laugh.
Welcome. That's some Alfa history you have there. |

I know one of the 33 Sportwagons, its in our local East Anglian Section of the AROC.
Kev and Shrew's forum - which one is that?
The GT is a nice but occasionally frustrating car, all is fine, then it just likes to throw in the odd wobbly, you think its fixed then it comes back again. I'm hoping I've cracked most of the mechanical issues having changed all the clutch system and also the steering rack. Just waiting to get a new wheel after it was damaged by a pothole.
currently working my way through fixes on the GTV... _________________ GT 1.9JTDm and GTV 2.0TS |

I have one of the S2 33 SWs.
It is SORNed at present as it needs a new rear quarter due to rust, but the rest of the car is immaculate, with a rare Alfa leather interior.
All runs and is working, but welding and some paint needed. Probably in the next 12 months. _________________ Drivers:
