|
|
Tyres now on our Panda - Wheels still available, offers invited.
As some of you may know my 33 was a daily driver and so I had a spare set of wheels with winter tyres, now the car has gone these can go too.
If you've never driven winter tyres they are a revelation. They are not just for snow and ice, they will outperform all tyres in temperatures less than 6-7C. You can genuinely feel the car gripping and stopping better in all wet, muddy or greasy conditions. The bite when stopping is particularly noticeable. Our lane was hard packed snow for the best part of a month a few years ago and I was driving the 33 along it pretty much the same as I would have done in the summer.
2 x Hancook ICept manufactured 29th week of 2011
2 x Hancook IceBear manufactured 25th & 26th week of 2010
All 185/60/14 with approx. 5-6mm tread remaining across the entire tyre so about a third worn.
Black Circles have these for about £50 each so how does £100 including the wheels sound.
The wheels are far from perfect but very presentable. Two are of Speedline manufacture, two are made by "A. Benzoni & Co."
More pictures available on request.
Tyres can be collected from GU33, Liss in Hampshire. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v

After doing a bit of wheel-spinning in third gear today on damp 4 degree roads today on pirelli P6000s, I really recommend these. Reckon I ought to put mine on too. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Tyres now on our Panda, wheels still available.
They look pretty straight, no kerbing, fine for every day use but would require repainting for a smart / show car.
Offers, collection from GU33. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Having just bought some wheels for my Saab 9-5 for winter tyres I now have 4 lovely stout cardboard boxes in my garage. Happy to pack up the wheels if the buyer arranges the courier. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |
