manual says
agip dexron II
ip dexron fluid II
tutela GI/A
i am assuming this is ATF not PSF
i have 1L of
https://www.commaoil.com/commercial-vehicles/products/view/223/PSF1L
it says "Compatible with all ATF type fluids. " ???

https://www.opieoils.co.uk/f/102203/103/1992/power-steering-fluid.aspx
suggests

Motul DEXRON IID
Motul DEXRON III
Motul MULTI ATF Fully Synthetic.
It is strongly prohibited to mix mineral, synthetic and semi-synthetic fluids with each other.

https://www.eurocarparts.com/steering-fluids
suggests
TRIPLE QX ATF Dexron III
TRIPLE QX ATF Dexron II
TRIPLE QX ATF Plus Transmission
TRIPLE QX Multi Vehicle ATF-U - 1
Castrol Power Steering Fluid

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/power-steering-fluid-12303/alfa-romeo/33/33-907a/8252-1-7-16v-907-a1b
suggests even more different ones

I will be doing a flush btw

Thanks
Alan

Dexron is a General Motors specification which is widely used by other car manufacturers. I always make sure any ATF I buy for the Alfa steering system is so labelled, as I'm sure that all Dexron specs can be mixed. The different numbers represent small changes/improvements over the years.

That statement "Compatible with all ATF type fluids", is ridiculous, as ATF simply stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid. It is not a type of fluid, and I don't believe all ATF's are mixable.

Nor are all PSF's mixable - my Audi uses a green fluid for the power steering and the manual specifically says not to use any other colour.
