There's a yard near here with a pretty complete Sud, a Sud-suspension pre 33 green cloverleaf Sprint, which I seem to be buying a bit at a time, (no room to put it if I bought it complete), 3 or 4 33's, mostly front ended (most common accident here I think), one a white 1.3 IE, pretty complete, without much visible damage except bonnet, but I'm having the rad & fan as spare for my Sprint, and the instrument panel, headlamps (LHD), front armrests, front bumper (unpainted), and a brand new towbar for my 33 if I decide to keep it. I originally bought this to put the engine in the Sprint, but kindof getting to like it. While resting from struggling with the water pump (it's off now, but destroyed), I took pity on it and gave it a rear wheel brakes and bearings overhaul, as they looked so unhappy My wife thinks it's the thin end of the wedge.
There is also a very complete gold 156 with pretty alloys - 6.5J 15H2 37C -don't know if these are standard, with 205/50 tyres. I thought these might look nice on either of my cars, but think they are too wide.
Anyway, if anyone's interested I can take some pics next time I'm there, which won't be until the weather here improves (4º at present, and the kids in the yard don't work well in bad weather) _________________ Dick Flower, Nr.
