Hi there,

I own an alfa 33 1.7IE from 1992. Now....the problem that I am facing is my coolant fan and housing (fitted to radiator). They seem to be broken as in making alot of noise!! I want to replace them, and here comes my question, with a cooling fan and housing from a alfa 33 1.7QV from 1988??

Cheers,
Maarten

It's possible that the earlier fan will be bigger than yours, as the earlier car had a slightly higher bonnet line, so the rad might have been a bit bigger. You should be able to check that quite easily with a ruler! Laughing

Other than that it's just a case of checking the mountings will fit. Electrically it should be fine.

Thanx, removed fan today and mountings on series 2 fan are not compatible. And there's no room for fanmotor, because of powersteering pump.

Another problem solved......

Cheers,
