Hey all,
Been some time since I've actually posted up here....
Anyways, here's my Sud Ti that I've owned here in NZ for almost 5 years now, I bought it when I was in the 6th Form at school at the tender age of 16!
Recently I've added the TSW Apex 15x6.5" alloys, what a nightmare of a thing to get hold of, especially brand new as I did. Ended up being supplied with the wheels in the correct offset, but with a 4x100 stud pattern with the holes drilled larger to give some leeway to fit into a 4x98 stud patten. BG (TSW distributor) supplied me with a set of special bolts, which have a floating conical washer on them, which fit into the conical depression at the bolt holes on the rims themselves. Clamps up when tightened and all is well! The only other problem I had was that in the front, the bolts were too long and fouling the strut as they came through the hub. So... out with the hacksaw and a die to clean up the thread!
But yeah... happy with the result, whats the general opinion here of them?

Sud looks great! Fantastic condition. God they're sexy cars - and I reckon they handle a darn sight better than my (series 1) 33 too...
Wheels look cool too. Although I still like the old telephone dial speedline mags on the suds... also the Ronal A1 look awesome if they fit...

Congratulations, your car qualifies for Windows wallpaper status!
I trust those skidmarks in the first photo aren't yours. 
How did you manage to avoid your Sud biodegrading all these years? The body looks very tidy, I can't spot even one eensy teensy dent!
There certainly seem to be a lot of nice Alfas in Christchurch. |

Thats a top Sud.
I have one that I've been restoring bit by bit since last year.
Uk Sud that metal maggot had taken hold of. Luckily it had only spread to the sills, wing, and landing panels.
Now inspired to finish the work. |

Lovely car, I used to have a 1984 model in the same colour but mine was a complete bag of crap. Went like stink, but bits kept falling off!
I'm not sure about the wheels. I reckon they would look good on a 33 but perhaps the Sud is a bit too old for them.
I've got the original 13" Campanatura alloys on my 1982 Sprint, but I would like to eventually change them to 14" or 15". I would have liked to put the similar design 14" wheels from the Alfetta or Giulietta on it, but from Keiths wheel size list it looks as though the PCD is different (100) but drilling them and using your special bolts might do the trick. I might look into that!
Failing that, I've seen some nice pics of a chrome bumpered Sprint with Ronal A1s which looks superb. Trouble is, I would have to fight you guys to get them as they are in great demand!!!

ULTIMO !!! Getting a suitable set of 15s in NZ is a real mission isn't it? The wheels on daughters car were 4x100 and we had to slot them 1mm on a mill and remachine the taper to suit. I've been searching for a set for my own car for ages now with no success. There's a nice set of 14" telephone dials on Trademe with brand new tyres that are tempting as I've just about given up on the 15s.
Anyway that is a beautiful car. I hope you've given up your idea of selling it.

Looks great man! You wouldn't by chance know any link for assist in advance tuning for the twin carbs would you?

Wow! So many positive comments! Cheers guys!
Anyways... the car is now up for sale, theres a thread in the for sale section, it's gonna be hard to let a car like this go, but I am now in the pursuit of a turbo car, or maybe if I can find a nice one, a 33 1.7 16v.
