|
|
My Australian1987 33 4C has a rear end cluttered with badges - it looks like too many. One says "Boxer 4c" one says "Alfa 33" one is the Alfa Romeo Badge and one even says Air Conditioning in Italian with a blue snowflake on! They were clearly very proud to have produced a 33 with A/C. I have never ever seen any other car which advertised on a embossed badge on the back that it had Air Conditioning! Does anybody else have this? Anybody seen another make of car with this type of badge on?! _________________ Alfa 33 4c 1.5 Gold Cloverleaf 1987

In Europe A/C was quite rare in those days in smaller cars (at least central and northern). Maybe they used that sticker to distinguish between cars to be sent to Aus or UK and the dealer forgot to take it off? |

Hi,
I have seen an Alfa 75 Turbo (a model around 1987) in the AROC of my country with a badge like a blue snowflake stating "Aria Conditionatta" or something - When I get there I 'll take acloser look and I'll come back.

I actually had one of those badges on the back of my 1977 Alfetta!!
"L'aria Conditionata"
The car did have (very feeble) air conditioning, and was a stock, original example when I got it.
Strange they would have that kind of badge 10 years later on a 33...

I have several 33's and all of mine have the badge aria condizienta. I am very proud of it as I have rebuilt the whole air con systems on all of them and can quite rightly wear this fine badge. The Boxer 4C Badge is quite self explenatary. I also have this on all my cars as well as some sweet koni improved and koni equipped badges. _________________ 5 Alfa 33's, 2 Suds God there is no help for me

Hi...
Series 1/2 33`s were suplied with those badges. Boxer4C was only fitted on series 1 while the ARIA CODIZIONATA was fitted whenever the car in question had Factory fitted A/C (Series 1 & 2).
My first 33 was an series 1 1.3S with the BOXER4C badge from 1986. After several others, i had an series 2 1.5 TI with A/C, that had the ARIA CONDIZIONATA * badge, from 1989.
Hope this helps
