Hi,

Forgive my guys, I know it is an Alfa forum but I want to share my joy of the Olympic Games with you.

I wonder how did you find the Games?

Either watching from the TV or as spectator who had travelled to Greece?

Too bad that they are now over Crying or Very sad However the Games will remain in everyone's heart Very Happy

Regards,

Hi,

quite a lot happend in the Greek sport recently: first the Euro Football Championship, then the Olympic games. The games were great, and the setting beautiful. I liked the idea of the green wreaths, which were put on the medallist's heads.

Well done Very Happy .

Shame the yanks insisted on taking them off for their national anthem, as if they were hats. Tragic.

As for my enjoyment of the games, I never really watched them. They just didn't seem as interesting this year for some reason -- nothing against Greece of course -- I really don't know why. Four years ago I was glued to the TV but this time I really wasn't bothered, and not many people I know were either... Sad

Greece can hold its head high.I thoroughly enjoyed them on TV. The venues and atmosphere were fantastic. And organised by a woman too! The birthplace of democracy is indeed enlightened. Congratulations.
