Hi,
Looking after daughter's 1.7 EI while she's o/seas. Basic thing is to try & start it every so often. However, last time I tried, it backfired, popped etc and started with some difficulty, but ultimately stopped. Now, it doesn't seem to want to start at all. I've checked/cleaned the plugs and fuel filter. The next thought is the injectors. Is there anything else that I should try? A couple of weeks prior to this it started OK.

Replaced distributor cap and rotor (that had lost the copper end bit) and the thing started fine. Also, the vibration from the distributor has disappeared. Total cost of fix was approx AUS$50.
