Hi everyone!
Why don't you have a look at the following link : http://zenithpbarm.free.fr/
You can download the video of 20minutes of hot pursuit on the french track "montlhery" in a series 2 33 with 1.7 8v carbed engine.
Just see how easily we've been "eating" the other Alfas! And that sound...why would anyone on earth drive anything else?
just enjoy...
regards,

Hahah, looks like you're having fun allright. ^_^
I tried some racing, on a closed circuit of course, in my totally stock 1.5 IE '33. Man that was fun. Even with my standard tyres (185/65 on 13" rims), I could rocket trough the corners (well, it felt that way anyways ). The tyres where screaming, and as I felt understeer, I simply pushed the gas down a little further and it would drag itself in the right direction. A great feeling. ^_____^
I'm hoping of getting a shot at a track like that (http://www.padborgpark.dk/docid333.aspx) after I've had a chance at replacing the suspension, rims and tyres.
Anyway, I enjoyed watching the video. _________________ //Wizz

hi!
thanks, this 33 belongs to a friend of mine (i'm his mechanic, and i enjoy the ride in the passenger seat) ; i's a late 1990 1.5ti series II with 1.7 hydraulical tappets twin-carb engine, and the front bars that provide rigidity to the wheel arches have been retrofitted from a series III 33.
the rest is stock, including tires, steel rims, shocks, brakes and so on.
besides, the rear muffler had been replaced by a convenient length of straight tube, providing additional noise during the race...
20 minutes of pure joy!
regards,
