Hi, when I am driving on motorway and accelerating slightly over (joke) 80MPH I get a strange rattling sound (bit like pnuematic in the distance). Any ideas? Is my gear box going to packup.
Thanks

| i get that also...i believe that either some small plastic thing is loose that just makes more sound when it hits faster OR then the bearbox might actually be "loosenin" up but i really doubt it...maybe the bolts that tighten the gear cover are jsut loose??? |

| I had a rattling sound from my gearbox 3 weeks ago. Someone on this forum (sorry forgot your name) said it was the loose heat shield on my exhaust - he was right. Hope that helps!! |

Hi, it was only evident at high speeds nearing or over 80 MPH. |

| Check the plastic strip below the windscreen for movement and any bits of plastic trim that could vibrate at certain speeds |
