My car has just failed its mOT on the fact that there is excess corrosion on both the front spring mounts. The mechanic told me that it could literally drop the whole front at any moment and to stay away from speed bumps.
It this a big job, they need replacing, i have asked them to do it but any tips and pointers would be helpful.
Help me guys
My car is a 1992 33 P4

Do you mean the tops, inside the bonnet (where the top of the strut connectes to the engine bay)?
If so, it's a big cut the metal out, and weld new panel in job.
Not nice!
