Hi guys!
Do any of you know if it's difficult to change the upper left cam seal with
the engine in place? Do I have to drop the engine for changing this?
Can I change the seals with the cam covers in place?

Going from memory, I changed a head on my 1992 16v, but I had to lower the engine to do so. (Low enough to move the engine over to one side)
To access the seal you'll have to remove exhausts, throttles, injection stuff, tinware and cambelt from that side, remove the camshaft cover and then unclamp the camshaft retainers. Then you could lift the camshaft high enough out of the head to change the seal on the end. (You will have to remove the pulley wheel from the end of the camshaft - slacken the nut before you remove the cambelt)
It will be a bastard of a job - you have my sympathy!
