Hi all. I guess with all the excitement of getting my Alfa 145 Cloverleaf, that I have not really put much effort into selling my 33, but it is a shame for the car to be just sitting on the drive now that the weather is getting cold , wet and wintry!!
I am open to sensible offers, but don't want to let her go for below a grand.
Anyway here's the spec:-
1995 (M reg) 33 1.7 16 Valve, (132BHP), Chipped, Full Specialist history, Metallic Silver, Mot’ed, Taxed, 66,600 miles, recent cambelts and head gaskets. Runs on Selenia synthetic oil.
Lots of history and a lot of money (a stack of bills!!) spent on maintaining and improving this car. Runs well and is very quick, sounds wonderful. Has a Supersprint backbox, BMC Sports air filter,
P4 refurbished alloys and Space saver, Red dot grooved & vented front discs, Red dot front pads, Recaro sports seats and interior, in Grey Alcantara, Kenwood 6 CD changer and head unit (4 x45w). Lots of Spares available. If you are after a nice late 33 with no rust and one with sensible mods then this could be the car for you. £1250 OVNO
I'm in North Wales about eight miles south of Betws-y-Coed.

Paul
Guessing this is still for sale.
If it is as good as you profess, I could be quite interested and the offer price would not be an issue. Trouble is, I live in West Africa, but will be back at the end of Oct for a weekend and then all of December. Live in Northants, which means quite a trek, but stranger things have been done.
Owned one (some here may remember it!) years ago, and would like to have an immaculate one for the future. And I have a nice cosy garage for it.
Please be aware that this enquiry may cost me my marriage... |

You wouldn't be the James Barrett, who hosted the 33 manuals, and had the diary of "what had gone wrong today" type feature thing???
Did you ever get the TVR?? _________________ Regards

Yes - I suppose that would be me.
I did buy a TVR - a Chimaera. Not a bad car, but for some very strange reason, it never excited me like the Alfa. God knows why. Maybe it was just a bit too 'precious'
As I have a (little) bit more money now (had to move to Africa to get it!) and I need a second car in the UK for when I get back, and I have an empty garage, and I know a (little) bit about them, I thought I'd buy another.
You can reminisce by following my web link, which is probably somewhere around here. |
