Yesterday after 2 month of work I heard the firsrt roar from my engine. It was completly rebuiled amd modifed from 1.7 to 1.7 16V. I also did some work on heads, vents, shafts,...I had some difficultiys with wiring sice previus version did not have coil.
I managed to get one on my neiubers wery upset since I did it aoroung 9pm. I dont have my exust sistem on yet and I am sure you can imagine how loud sound was. I will post some picutres on as soon as possibile. I feel wery happy with I had done since I am not avtomechanic and It is my first engine rebuiled.....So happy that another 33 is back on the roads

Yes, well done Laki - it is an impressive achivement for a person without a lot of car mechanic experience.

Hi Laki
A considerable achievement of which you can be justifiably proud. The workmanship looks top class. I salute you.
Regards Eddie

Tnks a lot. It took a long whille, but I am not even considering selling this car so I put a lot of effort in to it. I now have some minor problems with strating but I still need to adjust a couple of things. I hope to get the final picture of engine on soon. ....It s going to be some chrome work on some things.... Wink .... You will see.

oh yes not my dog....my is on this one....The black one..now is 6 weeks old..

That reminds me - I went into the garage 3 weeks ago and found my cat locked in the car. She must have jumped in through the boot the previous day when it was open and gone to sleep, as all the windows were closed.

I did a double take - she was standing on the seat, with her paws on the steering wheel miaauwing!

Luckilly, no signs of excretion so far. Twisted Evil
