Hi
Does anyone know what sizes (bore/diameter) are the coolant hoses
for the 16V?
I could measure them BUT that means emptying the coolant
just to do that.
Thanks

Hi!
I dont't know to which hoses you are specifiacally referring to, but there are quite a few different hoses within the coolant system of a 33 (diameter- and materialwise). Even if you had all the diameters and lengths i'd still recommend to buy the hoses you want to change at your AR dealer as they are already precut and premoulded to fit the different connections. That might be more expensive, but still you'll end up with less trouble.
Hope this helps a little
Greetings

Hi all
About our friend who mentioned the collant hoses, I am also intending to replace mine and I have searched to my local AR dealer who told me that the cost of the hoses (not including these of the heater) cost about €40.
Prior asking the dealer i asked various stores that sell every king of rubber hose which is intended for any king of use; from washing machines to garden hoses. Result ? a big headache as most of the times the store's warehouse wasnot having the appropriate diameter, the appropriate insulation etc...
So it is advisable to use the original parts in order to avoid wrong tolerances, diameters etc. In addition the cost is so low that it is not worth trying here and there.
Also you may use the appropriate liquid in order to help the cooling system flush thus taking away all the rust, dirt that may have been circulating in the system.
