No problem.
I've got both front indicators out with bulb conectors and bulbs, and can send them to you as soon as you like!
How does £20 for the pair sound?
PM me if you like, and we can exchange addresses and details.
Regards,
Chris |

Yeah they are.
What I've done is, rather than unplug them, I've cut the wires with about 6 inches of spare. This means that if for some strange reason the conection is not the same (and I'm 99.999999% sure it will be) then you could wire them in instead.
I'll PM you with my address.
Cheers,
Chris |

I'd like £60 for all 5 alloys, and they've all got really good tyres on with stacks of tread left! I've obviously got all the locking nuts and key.
If you're interested then send me a PM with your phone number and I'll give you a ring!
Do you live in Bristol? I work in Tiverton (junction 27 M5), and could meet you with them rather than you driving all the way down to mine if you like?
Like I say, let me know if you're interested.
Regards,
Chris |

I would be interested in the fuelling system (pump, injectors, throttle bodies etc.) if available.
Thanks,

I would be happy to strip off any parts that you would like, but for obvious reasons (time and effort) I'd need a list of what exactly it is you would like. If you could give me some sort of idea as to how much you're willing to pay, as it's not so much the parts I'll be selling you it's more about the time it's going to take me to strip the parts off and package them up.
All parts should be in perfect working order as the engine was running fine and had passed an MOT three days before the idler broke causing the damage.
The more detail you can give me the better. The throttle bodies and injectors shouldn't be a problem to locate and remove, but I'm unsure about the whereabouts of the fuel pump. Would it be located at the rear by the fuel tank on a series 3?
You can PM me if you like, or if you're still having logging in problems then just post here and I'll get back to you asap.
Regards |

Hello Evs,
I basically want to add a fully mappable injection and fuelling system to a 1.7 8v lump, which is in my Sud. The electronics will come from Emerald (as per Lesthegringo's site) so I need all the bits to deliver the fuel to the motor from tank to inlet port.
I do not know where the pump lives (maybe another Series 3 owner can help?) but I would be happy to come and remove the parts myself to save you the bother in exchange for a waddette of cash (that is assuming you are located in the South West). If this is impractical then I will supply you with a complete list of parts.
Thanks,

With regards to the front suspension arms, I do have them but I haven't checked on their condition! I will do though and let you know.
Do you know how much work is involved in getting these off?
I will shortly be turning the car on its side and I'm assuming this would make the job easier!?

Chris
I suspect there is a fair amount of work in taking the suspension arms off and that it will probably not be worth the effort unless you are doing a lot of dismantling of the front suspension.
The other problem is their condition, the odds are they will not be much better than mine. The car passed it's MOT last month. The first garage failed it on emissions and I got it reMOTed at the garage that fitted a lambda sensor. They failed it on the suspension arms so after a coat of underseal I took it back to the 1st garage for it's MOT.
The Alfa specalists I trust say the arms ought to be replaced, I fear that's the Alfa's end.
Yours
Keith |

Hello Chris,
Just thought I'd let any interested parties know that I saw the car today from very close proximity (I was removing some engine bits) and as we discussed I reckon that the shell is far too good to scrap. There is some slight corrosion to the drivers side "A" pillar but the car appears structurally very sound. As the interior is totally stripped it is the ideal base for a trackday (or race) car.
Come on Alfisti, don't let another 33 bite the dust!

Should be able to supply you with both of the parts you're after!
I'll get them out of the car over the weekend, and let you know when I have!

Do you still have the gearbox? Also interested in the cambelt pulleys if the bearings are not worn.
Whereabouts in the country are you?

Hi,
I do still have the Recaros and they were in fact all packaged up to be shipped out to somebody else in Potugal! They remain packaged up with all the interior door panels as well in my garage because the cost of delivery to portugal was far too expensive!
I would be more than happy to sell them (at a very reasonable price) to anybody who could either collect them from me, or arrange collection for delivery to wherever in the world you may be!
The whole interior is in great condition, and I've made sure to include all nuts, bolts, and brackets that are used to fit it all in place!
I live near Exeter in the South West!
Regards,
Chris |
