Hi Folks,
I have just got my clutch replaced, the guide bearing got imbedded in the fingers of the clutch, for the second time in three clutch’s!?! In my desperation to get it to the mechanic to get the work done I damaged it more.
But after it was all re-assembled. When you’re taking off it, sometimes it 'pops' out of gear just as you’re about to move off. It doesn't do it all the time, if you go back down through the gears in sequence, it seems to be ok, like from 4th to 3rd to 2nd to 1st, but maneuvering like if you go from reverse to 1st just pops out. When it happens, you can get rolling in 3rd and once your moving you can go back to 1st or second. I'm getting a second hand gearbox soon but was hoping to find out what's up with the current one without taking it apart.
