Hi

Horrible job. The heater comes out from under the bonnet, but you need to do alot of fiddling around in the dashboard. Think the heater control stay connected to the heater while you do it

Did this job about 4~5 years ago. Not fun

Be prepared to spend a full day on the job

All the best

Agree totally with keith (only done it on a sud) and the actual box itself is really brittle plastic and was easily broken. I didn't believe it was physically possible to get the thing out till about two hours of jiggling and riving I managed.

Watch especially the platic connectors for the temp control bits as these are really flimsy (especially the one for the lower vent flap, if you unclip that intact I'll take my hat off to you). Also remove the rubber from the front bulk head. Unit held on by four screws accessable from inside.

I'd try a dose of rad weld before tackling.

Hi

The series 3 heater is a fair bit more bulky than the one used in the Sud and series 1 / 2 33s

All the best
