Hi,
Anyone have any ideas as to the dimensions of a power steering rack and the weight for a 1991 1.7 16V?
I need to get one shipped from Singapore to Australia.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Just a thought, if you are after a 2nd hand one try contacting ASV, Parramatta Prestige, Alfa Bits, Brian Foley or Atwins all in Sydney. THey maybe able to source you one.

do you know how much one costs?
I was quoted to get mine replaced and fitted/recond and fitted for nothing less than $1000.
Know of any cheaper alternativeS? |

Throw out all the power steering and install a mechanical rack 
thats the cheapest alternative. You could easily do this yourself and then take your car down for a wheel allignment
