My 33 is starting to rust through around the tank cap area. Is there a replacement metal sheet part available which it could be repaired with or how have you guys fixed the problem? It seems to be a common place for the 33 to rust. _________________ 1990 33 16V QV

I remember a German selling a patch panel for this. You'd have to cut a section of the body out though and weld in the new part.
Basically, my take on the rusting is "yes, it does"
I've tried lots of methods to stop it - and it always comes back. I think it's due to the design, where mud and general crap can lodge up inside between the inner wing and body panel. _________________ Fiat Bravo 165 Sport |

Thanks, have to check on ebay regularly. It's a good parts source. I got my 164 QV back on the road after buying a Motronic ECU from there. _________________ 1990 33 16V QV
