When that hapens it is usualy sign that battery is on it's way out / needs recharging.
So does that happen with new fully charged battery?

Am gonna try a booster today and see....Just wish its just that....Gave me a great relief..... An other problem is gas leaking from behind at the left (drivers) side. It is happening when the ignition key is on (i guess due to electric pump). Any ideas to start from so as to start driving it?

Hi,

There are a couple of rubber hoses that connect the tank to the pump and the pump to engine. These are easily traceable if you look at the pump. No more than a few cm length and easy to replace.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

As i realised my battery is dead...It was dry type and the indicator shows that needs charging not that is dead but i had the car working for more than an hour and when turned it off It couldnt start... How many Ampere u think i should use?I think on using a bigger one(60)...The clock (series 2) isnt working but i am almost sure i showed it working but i dont remember if it was when used the cables so as to start the engine.Could this be due to the battery?

If there is no power clock also won't work.
55Ah was originaly in it?
Dry or wet batteries don't like being too long without charging, if it's flat for too long you cannot recharge them any more.
If you go for too big Ah from original you might have problems charging that battery, you might end up needing bigger alternator(charger) in car.
