Heavilly modified Alfa Sprint 1.5 QV...
Less 2 headlights, removed possibly to feed cold air to:
-carbs?
-Some kind of forced induction system (Seems like a intercooler behind the front bumper)
Cant figure out, what are those circular "things" behind the grille.
Ah.. And the side mirrors are Vitallonis", like those used by Lancias in WRC some years ago...(Rallye 037 / Delta S4 / HF 4WD / Integrale 8v and early Integrales 16v...
One thing is certain.
It started life as a Alfa Sprint QV (1.5, as the 1.7`s didn´t had the green stripes in bumpers and grille suround) _________________ All'interno della mia macchina, vi sedete, tenete sopra e CHIUDETE IN SU... |

Hi
It is 1,5 turbo Sprint with some 220hp. Has some mods in front suspension too.
It is fast, nicely built and I drool it every time I see it or sit in it
Couple more pics, seen here earlier.. http://www.alfabbs.fi/album_personal.php?user_id=144

Yep, lots of know-how on this forum! In the first pic it is showing off its new cooler.
Eddie, yes today I will be off to Jyväskylä to watch the 1000 lakes. Let's see if Loeb can beat the Finns on home ground as he no doubt wants to do. If he does, it will be a sad day in Finnish motorsport history I don't have my money on him though. Actually I rather save for Alfa parts than betting. If Grönholm drove an Alfa, maybe I would have to change my thinking. Anyway, it is going to be interesting with Loeb and Citroen being so strong this season and Grönholm, 4 times winner of this rally but with a slower car.
