I'm always happy to see Alfa Romeos everywhere and lately I saw a GTV6 in an old James Bond movie (I mentioned it in another post).
I was wondering... has anyone else seen any alfas in movies/books etc?

I've also seen a beautiful 156 station wagon in "Ripley's Game", a lovely (brand-new at the time) Sprint and a series 1 or 2 33 in an old Greek movie a few days ago and an old Alfa cabrio (I couldn't see which model it was-something from the 60s I think) in Looney Toons.

There are also many references to 155s in Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" (the one before the "DaVinci Code") book.
It seems that the phrase "Alfa Romeo 155 Twin Spark" sounded very nice for a book that refers to Rome and the Vatican because he uses it like a thousand times Very Happy.

There is also a movie with Michael Caine driving a Montreal ... but I cannot recall the movie title... but it is a film of 1972.

Hi,

There was a film (For TV only?) which starred an Alfasud driving Tom Conte some years ago.

Oh and there was a fairly popular film in which Dustin Hoffman drove a boat-tail Spider, oh what was it called, not Tootsie.......

On a similar tip, Jeremy Clarkson owned and loved a GTV6 in the Eighties, Simon Le Bon owned/owns an RZ and Chris Goffey (Top Gear old days) owned an Alfasud.

John

I saw a spider in The Fabulous Baker Boys.
It nearly ran Michelle Pfeiffer over in a parking lot
