Best pads I ever had pleasure braking on 33 were original AR 16v pads (Ferodo Formula 1). Unfortunatly they are no longer in production.
soft last up to 10k km, no warm up, blacks alloys, fast fade recovery
2nd place
- normal discs - original/oem ATE pads.
semi hard last up to 15k km, no warm up, mid blackening of alloys, mid fade recovery around 10-15 secs.
- drilled/sloted disc what ever manufacturer you got them from, same pads (Brembo /Brembo, OMP/OMP...) because usualy softnes of disc is acompanied with softnes of pads.
Brembo, OMP and other fast road /sport pads usualy need warming 2-3 braking, all other as 1st.
3rd mid range pads
Ferodo Premium/Premier comparable to ATE only had harder compound.
Had problems with lockhead premium, needed warming, faded fast needed lot time to recover and made squiks _________________ Tino Vatavuk
