Hi there,

Could someone please provide the torque settings for the rear suspension, my haynes manual has gone missing! Particularly the panhard bar, watts linkages, stub axles and shocks.

Thanks heaps!

Hey hows things,

These were for a sud right?

Straight from the Haynes book they are as follows:
(all measurements in lb/ft)

Rear hub bearing locknut: 18 - 22
Shock to axle bracket bolt: 10.8 - 17
Shock bracket to axle bolt: 10.8 - 17
Panhard rod to axle and body: 50.6 - 62.8 (!)
Hub bearing carrier to axle: 21.6 - 35.4
Watts linkage to body: 21.6 - 35.4
Shock to body locknut: 10.8 - 17

There ya go, those might be of some help to ya. Hmm, Haynes book actually came in useful.....

Richard
