Hi,

Does anyone here know if I can fit the Eibach lowering springs and the original shock absorbers (all rear side) from a type 2 alfa 33 1.7 QV to my new type 3 alfa 33 1.5 IE (with 1.7 engine)?
It is only worth my while if the shocks of the 1.7 QV are stiffer then the original ones on the 1.5 IE! Guess they are?

Thanx,

Don`t think they would be any different QV. I wouldn`t lower one end only if I were you. The springs might be worth getting if the price was right, you could then look for some fronts to match. My daughters 1.7 QV came with Monroe gas on the rear and it hops down the road like a bloody skateboard on steroids.
