Have just regasketed/o-ringed the twin Dellorto DRLA's on my alfa powered M&W Spyder.

Can set the carb balance evenly between both sides at idle using vacuum gauges on the take off's at the base of the carbs, but as I open the throttle one seems to the lead the other a bit taking it out of balance for a short time.
Have set the length of the opating arm drop links to the carbs using a vernier caliper and set any other free play using a feeler gauge so they are pretty accurate.

Any tips to ensure everything remains balanced as it comes off idle?

The manifolds do have (currently bunged off) fittings in them which go though to the manifold inlets, which I believe normally are used to balance air pressure differences in the vacuum pressure between barrels
Would it be worth relinking these back up?
