16v computer can they be interchanged

a question for those who know,, if we get a non cat 16v computer and plug it into a 16v with a cat but unplug the lambo probe will the thing run
am giving this a shot and would prefer not to fizz the good non cat comp !!

Yeah it will run. I have a spare ECU that came from OS. Can run it with or without the ECU thinking there is a Lambda probe there. Although must admit the probe has always been connected.

Both ECU have the same part number and can be interchanged. Just change the switch on S2 (close the ECU on a LHD car). For a cat car should be yellow and for a non cat, a red one. Do you remember Scott !!

When i try to load you webpage, all i get is a page full of adverts as they keep respawning. i am using ie6 but had the same problem with ie5.5. is there any other place you can host your page. I haven't had any problems with fortunecity.com hosting.

yeah the ads suck, but if you get my none to subtle hint of using something like ad-subtract, also using a hosts file and the site becomes reasonable.
