It’s a 1992 K reg series 3 Sportwagon non-catalyst (so 137bhp rather than 132bhp). If you have broadband I can send you a load of pictures, but it’s been featured in the AROC magazine (most recently on page 14 of the last Registro Ricambi column!). The car has had two owners plus me from May last year. It’s done 64,500 miles and has every MOT cert and £3,750 worth of receipts so I believe the mileage to be genuine. It had a full annual service in May, including new cambelts, brake pads and battery. The bodywork is good, there’s a bit of rust on the nearside rear wheel arch and the driver’s side sill has been repaired in the door aperture. The synchromesh on second gear is a bit tired but it goes very well and has provided sterling service. I have a small number of spares, nothing of any great value or interest and am selling to fund the completion of my GTV6 restoration.
The car was in the “For Sale” area at Boughton House this year at £1,250 and I had some interest although no one bought it. The MOT and tax are due in October so I guess I would let it go now for £900 (ono?) for a quick sale; I also have a 75 2.0 TS for sale although I suspect both will have to go to pay for the GTV6.
I think it had done 63,000 miles when I got it and needs using really; I have a 156 that I use day to day. The car is located near Sheffield. Please pass my details on to any prospective buyers.
