Here's an example - this really happened :
"I couldn't put the strut back on my 33 because my wife had to hold it in place and her waters had just broken!"

Well ...
I can't work on my Alfa today because the other Alfa (147) got jealous and decided to overheat to 130C. So work on the 33 is postponed till I have the thermostat replaced in the 147. _________________ Thanassis Gritsopoulos

I can't work on my Alfa today because, the bloody car has nothing wrong with it now... It`s so reliable, just like a Hyundai...
All the best

I can't work on my Alfa today because the part i need (centre exhaust + cat) is probably going to cost more than the £2.23 i have rolling around in my jeans pocket

Even with all the heads and everything off the block, the motor still looks like a Borg cube off Star Trek!
I can't do any work on my Alfa today because... oh wait, I am going to work on the Alfa today.
I have a track day coming up on the 22nd, and I've got it booked in to get some sexy carb trumpets fitted and get the brakes looked at. What it really needs is the heads reconditioned but there'll be no time or money for that! |
