Hi All, the fuel gauge on my series 1 has finally given up the ghost. The orange light comes on Ok when fuel is low, but this is a little disconcerting when your 50-70km from the next fuel stop.!! It had been working intermittently but showing only 1/4 to 1/2 on the guage when it was infact full. Any ideas chaps, Wire off under the tank or something like that? or something simple (hopefully).

If the orange light comes on - does that not imply that the sender is working ok - but that the pods are broken? Perhaps you should check the wiring behind the dials.
