I have a body kit (Zender I believe ) for my daughters 33 (1990 1.7cloverleaf). I notice that it doesnt have the usual extra intakes in the bumper area of the standard unit. Plenty of intake areas below . Does anybody know if this gives problems in traffic due to reduced flow over the rad?

The front bumper you describe sounds like a Veloce front bumper. See http://www.uea.ac.uk/~x0127132/33_frontright.jpg and tell me if the picture looks like the one you have.

I have no problems with airflow over the radiator as the front grille (between the headlights) provides ample airflow to the radiator during driving. I never have any problems with overheating during driving, even on the recent hot days we've been having. The fan only ever comes on when I've been stopped in traffic for several minutes.

Thanks Hugh
Veloce it is. Plan on fitting it on daughters 1990 1.7 8v.My poor old `87 1500 doesn`t get a show at the best bits, middle management gets in first!
Does it improve the high speed handling or is it all show?
Regards Eddie

Middle management, hehe Laughing Lucky for me I've only myself to think about!

I'm afraid it's not really functional, it's all show - but what a show! Twisted Evil
