I've just bought another Alfa 33 racer - this time a 16v, but with a trashed engine. I'm scouring the obvious places - eBay etc - for a good engine (with or without car attached) to rebuild, but wondered if anyone had anything here that could do the job. If you have, please give me a call on 07974 255615. Cheers. |

Richard,
I have a spare 16v if you want it - and as you know I live just up the road from you.
Let me know if you are still after one.

Hi Hugh - No, I have bought the Dave Hughes Class F 16V that dropped a rod in the ARCA race at Donington in May.Hopefully the top end is still OK, but I managed to pick up a 16v standard car today which, again hopefully, has a good enough bottom end to rebuild into a reliable race engine. If anyone has any of the harder find items - like oversize pistons, new big bolts etc , I'd be interested. By the way, are you related to Hugh Jampton ?
Thanks for the cams, Edward - I'll pick them up shortly! |
