|
|
Hi,
I would like to make a question about an electrical component of Alfa 33.
I own a 1991 S3 1.4 IE alfa with Bosch electrical sestem and the Jetronic LE 3.2. As the workshop manual says , the airflow sensor is located along with the ECU next to the air filter.
I have seen a black box behind the battery but i can't see clearly what is written on it. Does anybody know what this thing is as I cannot find it in any diagram of the workshop manual.
Also I would like to make the diagnostic tester in order to have trouble diagnosis; is this possible with the LE 3.2 system?

The sensor should be located on the air induction pipe, between the filter and the engine. It looks like a small black plug, and should be quite easy to find. |

Hi
The 1.3/4 should have a Marelli system which doesn't have an AFM. It uses a MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Preasure). It is a very similar system to the Bosch one used on the late 1.5 and 1.7 IE models
All the best
