Fixin up my Alfa33 85 cloverleaf..

hi ive had this car for about a year... sitting in my shed with a head off... problem with it is a blown head gasket.

So...
i got the head all acid bathed and shaved ... nice and shiny Smile
got a whole engine gasket kit
im currently taking the engine out so i can get all the timing right.
oh and gonna clean the block up and paint it with some black engine enamel
its done 140,000 Kms and has been looked after vary well.
interior is vary nice i like it alot!
it has brand new tires..
very nice little car

interior
as u can see ive been fixin the doors and steering column... and that damm speedo case its warped from the sun.. it was like that before i got it Sad i have got it into better shape and it still dsnt wanna fit so im gunna be neading a new one... plz post if u have one u want to sell


Rear of car
colour is gun metal grey and it isnt fadded or anything its good


side
front left quarter panel has been replaced and painted Smile


left 2 cylinders
note its alot cleaner now and has been honed.


heres the head before i got it all done up


if u guys have any tips plz leak em out onto this thread it would be much apreciated

So are you going to do the rings, bearings, water pump, timing belts, clutch, valve grind as well?

i dnt think it needs all that doing to it .. and yes the valves where grinded and got all new seals when the head got shaved i just bought a brand new workshop manual for it... so ive got all the procedures but thnx ill have a look at that site it can only help

Left Front Quarter panal

distributor Dizzy

Dash thing with Speddo And Tacho in it





Also i have a Genuine Alfa Romeo Tape player and radio if anyone wants it ill see for cheap

How do people get the engine out without the gearbox Rolling Eyes . I have always thought its more aggro than its worth and dropped the lot out from underneath Wink . I am open to conversion though

yea that was a bastard but i got it... i may have bent one of the studs that lock into the gearbox
but owell they can easily be replaced

all i did was get a block and tackle and lift the engine out of my car Smile
