Hi there guys if anyone remembers on the old forum i always used to whinge about my car being under powered etc...well today i put it on the dyno and it pumped out a massive 64kw at the flywheel...not impressed i drove around to numerous mechanics and finally found out why my car is so slow...the accelerator was not tight enough so it was only opening up the throttle bodies 1/4 of its capacity!....(no one yell abuse like "thats so stupid, you should have known that!" because im quite a car newbie)
anyway now after all that is fixed up the car is running as it should...shitloads of power and sounds beautiful...by the way everyone go and check your cable and make sure it is tight enough

great to hear you solved that problem, always worth checking they are working right.
Mine well, some one had changed the pedals so they were more to the right (on a RHD) so they were not as offset as usual. Downside was the same as yours. I put back the correct pedals, heaps more fun and fuel comsumption.
So what does the motor output now

Hey man! Good to hear the car is running well. I noticed when my accelerator cable was slack the car didnt run as well as it did when i tightened it. I tightened very tight , but with a 3-4mm play otherwise it will stick. What a difference when its tight! Its like a different car. My mechanic kept saying have it slack have it slack., but then the car didnt run well so F*** him i said!
