Hi guys, fuel gauge is not working on my series 1 1986 1.5 33.. Ive pulled the back of the instrument cluster off and carefully cleaned the contacts that effect the fuel gauge but no success.. Could anybody suggest what else it may be?? Can't seem to find the sender unit from the tank or any wires from that area.. Does the tank have to be dropped to get at the sender unit or to check if wires still attached.??.Any help appreciated..
Rgds

Hi
Unfortunatly the tank has to be dropped to get at the sender unit. It is on the top middle of the tank.
All the best
