Hello everyone I'ma newbie,
how hard is a rear bearing to change in an Alfa 33 84 model?
What tools do I need and how much muscle is involved?
Regards,

Very easy to change the outer bearing but you need a new nut as this must be deformed with a punch to lock it in place. If the inner needs replacing as well then you must remove the drum, this can be a pain sometimes (slacken the handbrake cable off it it won't budge)
It might (the nut) just need tightening up as they are tapered roller bearings.
I have reused the nuts before just make sure it won't be able to get loose. |
